How we safeguard your personal data

The Group has a responsibility to safeguard your personal data, i.e. your name, address, title, e-mail address and telephone number provided when you become a member. Digital data (your name, e-mail address and telephone number) are securely held by the Chairman, with back up copies held by the Membership Secretary and the Treasurer.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires the Group to identify a Data Controller who determines the needs and means for processing personal data (in any format) and a Data Processor who processes data on behalf of the Data Controller. These responsibilities will be fulfilled by the Chairman (Data Controller) and the Treasurer (Data Processor).
